Britain's demanding Tweed Valley courses took their toll on the World Series' top Enduro riders this weekend, while revealing a depth of technical prowess among local riders.
"I think both the physicality and the technicality of the trails have surprised many riders," said TweedLove organizer Neil Dagleish, “A lot of people told us they thought this was the hardest stage of the EWS. The trails here are steep, technical and slippery and many riders are not used to it. The locals proved to be very comfortable and the results show ”.
Great Britain sees four riders in the men's Top 10 and 6 in the women's Top 10. In the women's race, Tracy Moseley's domination, who found herself at ease on the Scottish trails, winning ahead of Frenchwoman Anne Caroline Chausson and Cecile Ravanel. Now Chausson and Moseley share first place in the overall standings of the EWS.
In the men's race, Frenchman Nicolas Lau (Cube Action Team) wins ahead of New Zealander Justin Leov (Trek Factory Racing Enduro) and Scottish Joe Barnes (Canyon Factory Team).
Now the next stop is 21-22 June in the French Alps, precisely in Valloire.
