Third stage of the Enduro World Series in Valloire, France. Next stop in Italy in La Thuile on 12-13 July.
June 23, 2014, Valloire, FRANCE - After 6 stages with descents that exceeded 15 minutes (with a total race time of 1h20 '), Jared Graves, the Australian athlete under Team Yeti, excelled. A race in full French style with very long descents thanks to mechanized lifts that brought the athletes to the top without having to pedal up. A different format that has already been discussed in the past but we are not here to comment on this.
The Australian won with his 26 ″ Yeti Carbon and Damien Oton and Renè Wildhaber could do nothing.
In the women's race, Tracy Moseley (Trek Factory Racing) won with a total time of 1h29: 49, 1'36 "ahead of Frenchwoman Anne Caroline Chausson (Ibis) and 2'02" ahead of Dutch Anneke Beerten (Specialized Racing) .
Another difficult round for the Italians with a 38th Alex Lupato (penalized 30 ″ on day 1 for an involuntary corner cut), 41st Nicola Casadei, 43rd Davide Sottocornola, 62nd Denny Lupato, 65th Andrea Pirazzoli, 127th Michelle Angelini , 139th Andrea Scappini, 140th Francesco Baroni, 179th Andrea Mori, 182nd Elwin Mattesich, 200th Luigi Svanosi, 207th Massimiliano Caroli, 215th Sergio Belotti, 221st Daniel Naftali.
