For those who don't know yet, the Alpe d'Huez Megavalanche is one of the most legendary and unmissable marathon descents in the world.

Since 1995, thousands of runners have started from the Pic Blanc (3330m). Its "mass start" at an altitude of 3330 meters on the Sarenne glacier and its finish in Allemond, 2600 meters below, make this DH Marathon the longest and craziest race in the world. While this internationally renowned event is taking place, the MEGA KID, dedicated to children, and the e-Megavalanche, a category reserved for pedal assisted mountain bikes, are also taking place.
From Saturday to Wednesday morning: unlimited ride on the entire Alpe d'Huez Bike Park and free reconnaissance of the Mega trails (prologue and race), and from Wednesday :
Wednesday : DUAL SLALOM
The principle is simple: two short parallel and identical tracks, two pilots at the start, whoever reaches the end first wins!
Free Practice Wednesday afternoon 14-00pm / Qualifying 16-00pm & Elimination Dual Slalom for 16 best times 00-17pm!
Limited to 100 people – €15 (frame plate + hourly chip and open bar for participants)
Thursday afternoon : RACE WITHOUT CHAIN
If you ride as Aaron Gwin, this race is for you! No chains, no pedaling. No pedalling, no acceleration. No acceleration…, no braking! No braking - victory is yours! See you Thursday at DMC 2100m from 14-00pm, chainless, for a crazy fun race on the Run DMC track.
5 possible trials, we keep the best time! The 5 fastest runners + 3 fastest kids (7-14 years) will be awarded! Compulsory registration, only 150 runners (+5€).
NEW : Thursday evening : FUNKY RACE
The new venue of the Megavalanche week: a 100% fun road race that is already an event not to be missed, whether you are a rider or a spectator! Departure at 18:00 from the expo-village for the 30 riders registered for this intense 30mn of loop-racing!
Main objective: do as many laps as possible in 30 minutes for the most athletic runners or put on the best show for others! The three fastest riders, the funniest outfit and the worst bike will be awarded! Registration +5€, only 30 riders
