Mathias Fluckiger will not participate in the next stage of the World Cup due to a fall in training.

No way: for Fluckiger Lenzerheide it will not remain a place worthy of a beautiful memory. After the facts last year with Nino Schurter, Fluckiger is forced to miss it this year due to a fall in training.

Unfortunately, that didn't go to plan. I got injured in training yesterday, Wednesday 7th June. The immediate medical examination revealed a ligament tear in his left thumb. Thanks to a specially made cue, I'm still aiming for a start at the @uci_mtbworldseries @bike.kingdom home World Cup at Lenzerheide. A first training session on the track today makes me optimistic – Mathias Fluckiger
