Mathias Fluckiger undergoing hand surgery ahead of the MTB World Championships

Despite the hand injury sustained at Lenzerheide (in training), Mathias Flückiger managed to get on the podium 2 times in the World Cup denoting an optimal state of form.

But now Fluckiger wanted to have an operation ahead of the World Cup in Glasgow.

The operation on my hand was successful. In a few days she will be back on the bike. I would say tomorrow. I'm joking, now we need patience. I am grateful to have been able to compete in Val di Sole.
