At Terlago Enduro a surprise winner, or rather not an Enduro specialist but who has no rivals when it comes to opening the throttle downhill. It is about Martin Fruet, Cross Country champion and already winner of a World Cup stage in 2000 in Mexico, won on the downhill since many rivals were unable to tackle a very difficult section of the track on the bike.
Martino Fruet wins in front of Marco De Col, favorite on the eve but who can't keep up with Martino Fruet, who, living in the area, was also able to count on the home factor. Third place Stefano Udeschini, a permanent presence in the Triveneto circuit, who is 1st amateur and recovers points in the Triveneto general.
68 athletes completed the race.
