On 7-8 March 2015 in Roberval (Quebec, Canada) will take place the "Mahikan race" is a two-day competition of Fat Bike on a snowy track. Roberval is a small town in the north of Quebec where the 32 km international swimming crossing of Lac San Jean takes place in July. A town also known for the over 200km of cycle path that surround the lake and the scenery is fantastic even in winter, very suggestive as it is attached to the Indian reserves. Just 30km from Roberval there is St Felicien, a city known for the Zoo Safari and, 1 hour by car, Girardville where the Parc Adventure Mahikan is located, where you can realize the experience of having a real direct contact with wolves.

Race 1 - FAT FAST
7 March: from 20,00 to 21,00
Night race on the Roberval FESTIVAL D'HIVER track.
It is a demo / competition with eliminatory heats, made up of four riders, the first two qualify for the following heats.
Course on a totally flat oval circuit of maximum 1km.
RACE 2 - FAT CROSS
8 March: from 11,00 to 12,30
“CrossCounrty” style race in ROBERVAL's Rang Hudon forest.
A circuit of 3km and 350 meters to be covered 9 times, for a total of 30,150 km.
Mainly flat with an uphill stretch of 200 meters at 15%, another of 100 meters at 10% and another 4 small "rips" of 20/30 meters at 12%
"The Riders Legends"
Two "Legends" of the French and world off-road have confirmed their presence.
Miguel Martinez, Sydney 2000 Olympic Champion and 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games Bronze Medalist in addition to boasting 3 CrossCountry World Champion titles, he currently runs for the Tropix Team.
Christian Taillefer, former European Champion of Downhill, 3rd place at the world championship of Downhill 1992, Snow track speed world record. He is currently preparing for a new speed record attempt with Peugeot Cycles.
Stefano Migliorini, 1998 BMX World Champion and 3 times European Champion Downhill.
