The UCI has just announced the venues for a total of 14 World Championships to be held over the next few years. And in total there are 8 different countries that will host them: Saudi Arabia catches the eye. This Middle Eastern country will host a total of 3 World Championships (2 Urban Cycling and one Gravel).
As for MTB, 2 new world championships were awarded. The 2026 and 2027 MTB Masters World Championship will take place in Nevados de Chillán, Chile, while the 2028 Bike-Marathon World Championship will take place in South Africa, precisely in Cape Town.

- 2025 and 2026 UCI Masters Cyclo-cross World Championships: Varese (Italy)

- 2026 UCI Junior Track World Championships: Heusden-Zolder (Belgica)
- 2026 and 2027 UCI Masters Mountain Bike World Championships: Nevados de Chillán (Chile)
- 2028 UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships: Cape Town (South Africa)
- 2028 UCI Gravel World Championships: Alula (Saudí Arabia)
- 2028 UCI BMX Racing World Championships: Houston (USA)
- 2028 UCI Road World Championships: Abu Dhabi (UAE)
- 2029 UCI Track World Championships: Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Enduro world championships will arrive in 2024: European location but spot yet to be confirmed while XC/DH in Andorra.
