Junior Loris Revelli conquered the European title in Wisla, Poland downhill junior men. The young Italian talent, decisive in the recent world championships, today unleashed an extraordinary performance in the final, beating the French Laly Thibault by 2"023, who had set the best time in the "seeding run", and the Czech by 2"735 Tomas Navratil.
Hosting the important continental event was Wisla, a small tourist resort located in Poland a few kilometers from the border with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These two countries, together with the host one, brought most of the participants who battled with a good number of Germans, Austrians and Slovenes. Loris was expected in Andorra after his beautiful victory in Val di Sole, but a trivial crash prevented him from getting on the podium of the world championships, but here he managed to express his full potential and won in front of the strong Frenchman Thibauld Laly.
But it doesn't end there, Italy of downhill she also takes home silver and bronze in the elite women's race with Veronika Widmann and Eleonora Farina, respectively second and third in the race won by the Czech Jana Bartova. The 22-year-old Italian champion from Termeno finished 2"441 behind the winner.

In the men's elite race Slovenian Jure Zabjek won with 0 "643 ahead of Polish Sławomir Łukasik and 2" 302 over Swiss Lutz Weber. The blues Carlo Caire and Gianluca Vernassa finished in 20th and 21st place, Francesco Colombo in 37th.
