Laurie Greenland leaves the MS Mondraker team

After 6 excellent and successful years as a rider for the MS Mondraker team, the Englishman and Mondraker decided to go their separate ways after enjoying an excellent and successful relationship

Laurie Greenland has given the brand the most World Cup podiums since joining the MS Mondraker team in 2016, but the Englishman will leave the team for the 2022 season.

After 6 years of close collaboration with the brand and the team, the 2015 Junior World Champion will not line up under the iconic MS pits from next season. Having first signed in 2016 following his junior title, Greenland has secured one of his best elite results to date by earning an impressive silver medal at the UCI World Championships in Val di Sole, where behind team rider Danny Hart, he helped create a historic milestone for the sport, as the three podium positions were shared by Mondraker riders. The first complete podium lockout for any DH mountain bike brand or team.

Since that silver medal at the 2016 World Championships, Greenland would go on to pilot the new Summum and Summum Carbon to notable results including podium finishes at the Lenzerheide (2017,4, 2018th), Leogang (3, 2018rd), Val di Sole (2, 2018nd), Vallnord (4, 2019th), Les Gets (3, 2019rd) and Val di Sole (1) where he finished 2021st by taking his first UCI World Cup win. 2 also saw him on the podium in 3 World Cup races, with a strong 5rd in Maribor and XNUMXth in Lenzerheide.
