A pure and multi-purpose All Mountain mountain bike, designed to push you to the limit and enjoy riding in total tranquility. Without altering the original spirit, the new Zesty CF is a point of reference in All Mountain: more versatile, more efficient and never so fun, playful and effective on all types of terrain.
Wheel travel has changed very little in nearly two decades. The last generation of the Zesty AM was already based on a platform designed for 140-150mm of travel. However, the kinematics and geometry have adapted to the new expectations of mountain bikers and the evolution of the All Mountain mountain bike: always improving the ability to go fast on flat roads or uphill, remaining the best in technical descents.
Suspension/Kinematics: More sensitive at the beginning of the stroke, more effective at the end of the compression
While remaining based on a “4 bar linkage” suspension perfectly suited to an All Mountain mountain bike, we tried to improve the kinematics at both extremes: greater sensitivity at the beginning of the travel and a more progressive suspension that reaches further into the travel to avoid bottoming out too quickly, all with 60mm of shock travel and 30% SAG.
GEOMETRY
You can also increase the responsiveness of the rear of the bike thanks to the FlipChip, which allows you to convert the mountain bike to a 27,5′ rear wheel by adapting the geometry.
- Much more vertical seat angle (+3,7°), shorter top tube (from 5 mm to 49 mm from S to XL) and longer reach (+20 mm on all sizes)
- 432mm short chain base (430mm by 27,5”)
- Longer wheelbase (30mm)
- Higher head tube
- FlipChip for pedaling with the Mullet or with the complete 29".
Thanks to the complex assembly of 3 types of fibers – T800, M40J and T700 – and the use of special PU and PP mandrels, we have optimized the lay-up and finishing of the construction.
The Zesty CF is built with over 500 layers of carbon, ensuring precision and high performance.
MODELS AND VERSIONS
The entire Zesty CF 2024 range has been designed to guarantee efficiency, rigidity, performance and precision of use. All components were chosen based on these criteria:
- 150 mm travel front/rear
- 36 mm fork
- Differentiated tire sections (2.50 front/2.40 rear)
- 4-piston brakes 203/180
- 32 mm chain
The Zesty CF 9.9 will be the only “super light” All Mountain model in the range. To make this model as light as possible, the frame will have a raw carbon and matte paint finish, 140mm of front/rear travel, a 34mm Fox Float fork and DT Swiss XC1501 Spline carbon wheels with 2,40 tires front and back.
