The jury specified that the Spicy CF sets new standards thanks to its atypical design and its unique concept of mountain bike with High Pivot or Low Pivot suspension, in the full 29″ or Mullet versions. This prestigious title honors Lapierre's expertise in the enduro mountain bike segment. In addition to this 2-in-1 concept, the judges particularly appreciated the orientation towards downhill, as well as its excellent climbing abilities for enduro.
Spicy CF was the 2024 Enduro World Champion with Isabeau Courdurier.
Lapierre has received its fifth and sixth title since 2017, the year in which the Design & Innovation Award was introduced. The first Design & Innovation Award was for the OV AM 900+ (GLP I) in 2017, followed by the awards for the Prorace CF in 2018, the OV GLP II in 2021 and the OV GLP III in 2024. This is also the first year in which Lapierre has managed to win two DI.A titles in two categories. The boldness, innovation and know-how of the French brand are thus rewarded.
