The racing season of the Torpado Factory Team started from the south of Spain, Katazina Sosna brought her Torpado ReNero and the new Lithuanian national champion jersey with Manitou's novelty on it, among the trails of the south of the Iberian peninsula.

The Spanish stage race was undertaken by Katazina Sosna with the Swiss Irina Lützelschwab.
An adventure that has been a real crescendo across the six stages in Andalusia, Katazina together with her temporary and courageous teammate occupied every single step of the podium in this cutthroat stage race. The overall result was not only the 6 podiums for the six stages (third in the first stage, first in the second, second in the third stage, first in the fourth and fifth stage and second in the sixth stage), but also the leadership in the general classification from end of the third stage until the conclusion.
The Andalusia Bike Race was a real climax, a progressive growth in form and results to bring home a great final success which is the result of all the work done during the low season and in the company of the technicians who assisted the team in developing a winning setup even for such a long and grueling race.
The 2023 season started in one of the most coveted stages, with a very great competition in which Katazina has demonstrated a great experience in managing every single stage with strategic intelligence.
Kata is back to being #superkata, the athlete who thirsts for victory and who started this 2023 season as only she can, aiming for the highest step of the podium.
«In today's stage we started really strong, I tried to manage myself but above all try not to let Irina linger, the goal in this last stage was to keep an eye on Dohrn and her teammate
team, we were aiming for the general classification and we focused on that. In the finale there were very technical descents and our gap from the front of the thing was still a minute, in those situations we started to recover, I never left my teammate alone, while the opponents weren't so united . Finally after 3 years I won Andalusia, I am extremely happy for this success that we wanted».
The Torpado Factory Team brings home the first victory of the season, a heavy victory in one of the most prestigious competitions of the season. #Superkata has returned to express its values at the highest levels of competition, confirming that they are still the reference values.
