It is an upside-down fork, a configuration capable of considerably reducing the unsprung masses (ie those that feel the ground) with the consequent better general behavior of the suspension. But be careful not to confuse it with an inverted bike seen up to now because its internal architecture and above all the mechanical system that allows it to slide is a completely different thing, not normally used in mtb forks and this is the reason why the Bright-RS has top class torsional stiffness.
It's a fork that is very supported, it doesn't sink on my weight and not even when I lean forward, it always has the maximum travel available to cope with the heaviest obstacles. Something that cannot exist with traditional forks as they provide for a certain sinking which in reality only closes the steering and reduces the available excursion. To some, Ragnoli's choice for a fork that currently weighs a little more than the others from XCO might seem strange, but apparently he believes that the advantages go towards making up for the given weight increase.

The excursion is still being chosen because with this type of dynamic operation it is possible to go to smaller excursions than with other forks.
As many have now guessed in my work process in the design, engineering and development phases I tend to remain very isolated and develop ACAD cartridges outside the outside world, while taking into account all the inexperience and inputs I had and experienced previously .
