Junior Men La Thuile: Herzog the race, Betteo the general

The program of the Internazionali d'Italia Series finals in La Thuile opened on Saturday 25 June with the race dedicated to Men Junior, also valid as the 12th round of the UCI Junior Series.

Emil Herzog (Stevens Schubert Racing Team) took an authority victory over the five laps of the Aosta Valley circuit.

The 17-year-old German, a multidisciplinary talent already a winner on the road, needed two laps to get rid of the French Paul Magnier (Veloroc-Lapierre) and the Italian Marco Betteo (Scott Racing Team), to then continue to put distance between himself and his rivals to the finish line.

Magnier finished in second place at 36 ", followed by Betteo at 1'09", whose great continuity in the course of the season allowed him to win the final title of the Internazionali d'Italia Series in the Junior Men category.
