Formula is excited to announce that world champion, World Cup winner, former enduro racer Josh “Ratboy” Bryceland will be riding using our suspension and brakes.

After testing a set of Formula brakes on an electric motorcycle, Josh DM'd us to ask if it was possible to test our mountain bike suspension and brakes. How could we say no?

We sent Josh a Nero fork, a Mod spring shock and a set of Cura 4 brakes and, Josh being Josh, he decided to test the components in the world's toughest race: Red Bull Hardline.

Josh finished the event really impressed with the performance of the members and we were equally impressed with Josh's attitude. After further testing with the Selva fork and Cura brakes, we grabbed a coffee or two together and decided to make things a little more official.

Sim Mainey, Formula communications manager, says:

“We are really happy to have Josh in Formula. Not only because he is an extremely talented driver and one of the legends of the sport, but because he is a fantastic person to work with. When Josh is around everyone has a smile on their face. We love the way he throws himself into new experiences with enthusiasm: from competitions like Hardline to discovering the joys of fatherhood he always gives his all. His next challenge will be to learn to gesture like an Italian"

Josh says:
“I have always had the best products. Or at least that's what I thought. Only after trying Formula products, I am sure that I have the best suspension and brakes on the market: they are even better than pistachio ice cream and that's saying something.”

Josh will be using the full range of Formula suspension and brake products and is already testing some products which will be announced soon. We'll talk about it soon, but in the meantime, keep an eye on Formula and Josh's social media: @rideformula @ratty_bryce
