Jolanda Neff back on top: hers is the Short Track in Nove Mesto

Jolanda Neff wins and convinces and Nove Mesto, in the famous Vycosina Arena, home to cross-country skiing competitions in winter.

The 2 Italians competing, the Bolzano girls Eva Lechner (Trinx Factory) and Greta Seiwald (Santa Cruz FSA), finished in 24th and 15th place respectively.

The race started with 3 laps to go when Rebecca McConnell it again seemed to be able to make fun of all the other competitors. Instead today she found in Jolanda Neff her first opponent, with Alexandra Keller and Loana Lecomte very perky.

On the final lap McConnell accelerated again but, out of the woods, Jolanda Neff did a long sprint, keeping to the end and going to win her first cup race, albeit a Short Track, of 2022.

Third Jenny Rissveds, fourth the XCC world champion Sina Frei, fifth Loana Lecomte. Retired Pauline Ferrand Prevot, who passes the jersey of XCC cup leader to McConnell (who also wears that of XCO).
