After kicking off the racing season with victories at the Australian and New Zealand National Championships, followed by a second-place finish at thelast stop of the Red Bull Urban DH series, Jackson is off to a flying start in his first season as an Elite. Unfortunately he has been delayed in his training after suffering a ruptured appendix: fortunately Jackson was released from hospital after four days and so now there is still plenty of time to recover before the World Cup in June.
