Italia Bike Cup becomes Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang in 2023, thanks to the adhesion as main sponsor of one of the giants in the production of cycling tires, the circuit takes on even more the connotations of the reality it represents, an international level test circuit. The agreement with Chaoyang represents and confirms the quality that the circuit has developed over the years thanks also to the support of important companies in the sector such as Selle SMP and ZeroWind, which also for 2023 will be alongside the Italia Bike Cup, while others are in the process of joining.
Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang intends also for 2023 to enliven the competitive season of the first part of the year with 6 high quality races, offering competition fields useful for preparing for the most important international events, but also to increase visibility in the international arena of athletes and sponsors.
The big news will be the presence of 6 trials which will see the season start from Verona on 4-5 March 2023, with the Verona MTB International a historical test of great success with a circuit entirely created in the Parco delle Colombare. Suggestive location in the city center of Verona, with a race development that can be observed almost entirely from every point of the Park.
From Veneto we will move to the Mediterranean coast for the test International XCO Cup City of Albenga (11-12 March 2023) with the Ligurian race par excellence, a technical and demanding circuit, at the same time spectacular. Albenga represents the theater of the great challenges of international champions, all facing the Ligurian Sea.
The third round will take place in Trentino, in Pergine on 25-26 March, with the Memorial Alverà, a race between enchanted woods and spectacular trail flows.
The halfway point will take place in one of the historic races of the international calendar, the Marlene South Tyrol Sunshine Race in Nals. On April XNUMX, one of the biggest Italian events of cross country will host the fourth round of the Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang, a new entry that doesn't need too many introductions with its ruthless and ultra-natural path among the apple orchards. The historic proof of cross country it will also have the honor of representing the most tempting opportunity for riders chasing UCI points, with its renewed HC classification.
Ca'Neva Trophy is the 5th round of the Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang calendar which will take place on 15-16 April in Caneva, Pordenone. A modern and exciting race in the Friuli area, with a route capable of exalting the most demanding riders. The grand finale will be on a rock and roll course in the Aosta Valley, the Courmayeur MTB Event, staged on May 27, 2023, a leg-breaking track that will offer the great closing show of the 2023 calendar.
Also for 2023 among the objectives of the Italy Bike Cup Chaoyang there is the maximum involvement of local communities with itineraries and events aimed at enhancing the territories on which our events take place, but also involve the highest number of enthusiasts cross country, offering a variety of events for each category. Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang offers competitions for the youth categories, for the open and for the master categories who will be able to test themselves on the circuits of the great interpreters.
The events on the calendar that are also open to the master categories are: Verona MTB International, Internazionale XCO Coppa Città di Albenga and Memorial Alverà in Pergine. Each round of the calendar will also be accompanied by live online videos and exclusive content for social networks and the international press.
