Some of the biggest names in the World Cup's Cross-Country they kicked off at the Industry Trophy Finale under the Met Helmets Team. These are Martina Berta, Luca Braidot and Maxime Marotte.
To report the 3rd place of Francesco Colombo together with the companions of Intense Mari and Julian. Among the staff, Cannondale wins with the driver Jerome Clementz.
DECLARATIONS PRECENDING THE RACE
Martina Berta stated: "I really like the atmosphere and the way we approach enduro, it's a nice way to enjoy the bike at the end of the season. I just want to have fun on the bike and try to have a good experience. I think enduro is also useful for us cross country. I haven't raced enduro recently, but have done a few rides with my brother over the past few years. I went once on the Finale trails in 2019 with the bike cross country . The race format is very far from what we are used to. I'm really curious to see how we fare. In the end I think we all want to enjoy running together!"
Luca Braidot also plans to enjoy the race: "I chose to run the Bluegrass Trophy of Nations because I have enjoyed enduro for a long time. My main goal is to have a lot of fun! I've done some enduro in the past, but it's the first time for me in Finale. I don't really know what to expect from the race, but it seems like something really interesting to me".
Maxime Marrotte added: “I had the opportunity to race in the Trophy of Nation through my team and MET. It's a little late, but I'm always awake to have fun! Honestly I haven't prepared anything, I only have one day on that bike before. So it's about having fun and discovering a new format. I've never raced enduro!
Maxime Marotte "It is my first time on the Finale trails and the first time I have competed in enduro. Sometimes I ride the enduro bike, but I wouldn't say I'm an expert. I know my teammates perfectly well, so even if it's the first time for us, everything will come easy. We know how to work together and we have no pressure. I can't wait!"
MET Helmets stated: "As title sponsor of the Trophy of Nation with our Bluegrass brand, we really want to emphasize how great it is to race enduro, and especially here at Finale. That's why we proposed to our XC drivers from the Santa Cruz FSA team to race this weekend. Martina, Luca and Max immediately said yes!"
