The second leg of the UCI DH World Cup which took place in Fort William reconfirmed the eternal Rachel Atherton and last season's winner Amaury Pierron.

The rain and the wind conditioned the day, giving a hard time to the participants of the women's test. The race was still disputed and saw the prevailing world champion, Rachel Atherton, under Atherton Bikes. The Australian Tracey Hannah has tried in every way to undermine the first position, but finishing second only to her
1 second and 6 tenths of a delay on the British. Fatal was the motorway section, the final stretch interspersed with large jumps. The third and fourth position were respectively of the German Nina Hoffman and the French Marine Cabirou. The blue Veronika Widmann won the fifth place. Eleonora Farina, the other Italian to take part in the race, retired before the final heat due to fever.
The men's race crowned Frenchman Amaury Pierron, who risked a crash on arrival after a spectacular landing on the front wheel. Here too, as in the women's race, the second position is for an Australian, Troy Brosnan. France still present in third place with Loris Vergier.
