If Pineta Sperane XCO will celebrate the second edition of a still young event on Saturday and Sunday, 18 and 19 March, San Zeno di Montagna and Monte Baldo have long been the favorite terrain for bikers from all over Europe.
The area that will host the opening stage of the Internazionali d'Italia Series 2023 next weekend not only enjoys exceptional panoramas, with a view of the waters of the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, but the Garda microclimate extends the season of the two wheels on the various slopes of Monte Baldo, with its over 2.000 meters of altitude.
You'll be spoiled for choice: you can start from Malcesine or Torri del Benaco for those who want to enjoy breakfast by the lake, or right from San Zeno to immediately go in search of altitude and more technical trails.
In this mountain group of the Gardesane Pre-Alps it is possible to come into contact with the most important natural botanical garden in Europe, in all seasons. The water of Lake Garda, colder than the air in the summer and warmer in the winter, makes a decisive contribution to mitigating both the summer heat and the rigors of winter, making the climate of Monte Baldo exceptionally mild and temperate despite the mountain altitudes.
Monte Baldo has a thousand ways to amaze lovers of active holidays and mountain biking, from the Cà Path to the Malga Pralongo Tour via the Brenzone Malghe Tour and the San Pellegrino Trail of San Zeno di Montagna, not far from the camp Internazionali d'Italia Series race.
For those who instead want to enjoy the same track as the champions, after the Internazionali d'Italia Series round on Saturday 18 March (Men's Junior at 10.00, Women's Open and Junior at 11.45, Men's Open at 14.00), Sunday 19 San Zeno and Pineta Sperane XCO will offer competitions dedicated to the Masters, as well as those for the Beginners and Students categories.
