There is less than a month left until the annual IMBA Italia Gathering which will be held in Imér on 21/22 October. Now in its third edition, the IMBA event dedicated to its supporters, mountain bike enthusiasts and all those who care about the sustainability of the territory, features many activities and presentations on the schedule, in short, an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss the present and the future of MTB in Italy.

The theme of this edition will be "opportunities and challenges in the development of sports practice on the trails", a theme that will be addressed thanks to the contribution of various speakers including Massimo Debertolis (MTB Marathon world champion in 2004), Anna Facchini President of SAT (Mountaineering Society Tridentini), Dr. Andrea Coppola Chartered Accountant expert in the Third Sector & Non-Profit, Attorney Riccardo Martini Ph.D. Lawyer, Dr. For. Elena Mingarelli (Forestry Doctor and consultant in the technical-forestry sector) and Luca Ladinetti Tourism Councilor of the Municipality of Loiano (BO) and coordinator of the BOM.BA project.

The complete program of the event is available on www.imbagathering.it where you can also register and reserve your place.

But it doesn't end here because one of the pillars of IMBA is the dialogue and the creation of synergies between the associations, an excellent example of this is the comparison made with the associations that took place at the last edition of the IMBA Italia Gathering (held last year at Kronplatz Plan de Corones, here is the complete report), where the request from local associations emerged to create a tool that could facilitate the sharing of information and documents between associations with the aim of being more effective and professional in projects to promote mountain biking and development of infrastructure dedicated to it in the area.

The IMBA staff therefore set to work to create a know-how sharing portal that can be easily navigated by themes and keywords and hosts models, drafts, regional laws and documentation useful to associations with the aim of providing associations dealing with mountain bike a constantly updated database on topics such as regional laws on trails, models of agreements with public bodies and land owners and much more.

It is also possible to support this project with a donation, the funds raised will be used for expenses relating to the development of the web platform and for the

creation of the first contents by professionals such as lawyers, accountants etc.

Furthermore, the first 300 euros collected will be worth double as they will be doubled thanks to the support of the kw570 online store!

The portal will be presented in its beta version at the annual IMBA Italia Gathering which will be held on 21/22 October 2023 in Imér (TN).

The annual IMBA Italia gathering and the portal for associations are two projects that are very closely linked to each other because they want to increase synergies between local associations and make it possible to maximize the efforts of the hundreds of enthusiasts and volunteers who deal with path maintenance and promotion of mountain biking .
