The fifth and final EWS-E of the season took place in Finale Ligure, Italy, on an exceptional course.

Hattie Harnden finished second in her first EWS-E race

With 12 stages, over 60km of pedaling and over 2500m of descent, this epic route has decided the absolute champions 2022. The route, in addition to technical downhill stretches, featured stretches at the limit of the uphill trial: just look at this stretch completed by Richie Rude.

The race saw the victory of Pontal among men and Espineira among women (report here) and offered a lot of shows, with the Italians who made a good impression: to report the top 10 of Garibbo and Raimondi among men, and the good 10th place of Alia Marcellini among women.
