The 2023 racing season is upon us and we are ready to reveal our new team kits, produced by long-time partner POC Sports. We are also thrilled to welcome several new partners to the Ibis Cycles Enduro Team.
Press release: Ibis Cycles
Zakarias Johansen started his enduro career with an encore. He rejoined the team in 2021 and finished the season in 7th place. The dad-to-be had a tough season last year after losing one of his parents to cancer. He took a mid-season break to focus on his family and health and now feels ready to get back to racing. In the first stop in Tasmania he finished in 10th place, an excellent result.

Raphaela Richter burst onto the EWS scene in 2019 and scored two podium finishes. She joined the Ibis team last year and in the 2023 first round in Tasmania she finished 11th.
Cole Lucas had a breakthrough season last year, moving up to 3rd overall, before a hand injury sidelined him. Too bad that this year too, in the first round in Tasmania, he crashed and I won't take part in the second round in Derby, also in Tasmania, due to shoulder pain.
New team partnerships include: Race Face, Granite Designs and Suunto. Race Face, will supply stems and handlebars. Granite Designs offers an excellent range of integrated tools, bottle cages and gadgets. And Suunto provides us with smart watches to track our efforts in training and racing.
The Ibis Cycles Race Team is sponsored by POC, Maxxis tyres, Shimano, Bike Yoke, Fox, Raceface, Bici, SILVA Sweden, Wilderness Trail Bikes, Granite Designs, LizardSkins grips, Cush Core, Motorex, Unior tools, Suunto, Umara, Sendhit and Ride Wrap.
