The Italian Bike Festival weekend has finally arrived. Starting from Friday 9 September, the Misano World Circuit will take on the colors of IBF and will welcome the more than 30.000 visitors expected for this fifth edition.
The agenda of the Bicycle Festival is full of appointments, conferences and shows to make the three-day exhibition unforgettable and enrich it with many activities.
IBF's doors will open to the media and industry professionals at 9:00 am on Friday 9 September. The general public will have to wait for the inauguration, and the opening of the gates scheduled for the same day at noon, in the presence of the highest officials of the Emilia-Romagna region, which supports the event with the support of APT Servizi Emilia-Romagna and Visit Romagna, under the direction of Taking Off, the organizer of the event.

The new location of the Misano World Circuit will provide approximately 50.000 square meters of exhibition area to which 30.000 square meters of off-road arena and 4,2 kilometers of test road area on the International Track have been added. THE PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES
Until Sunday the iconic Misano World Circuit will be made available to those who wish to personally test the road bikes of their dreams. To try mountain biking, gravel and all the various off-road proposals, the Shimano Off-Road Arena will be available which reserves, in addition to a flat flat track, also a hill to test all the products made both uphill and downhill. available from companies. The service will be available starting from the opening hours, up to 30 minutes before the closure of the village.
Even the little ones will find a space dedicated to them inside the Misano World Circuit: at the Kids Pumptrack, located within the Bici Turismo Expo Area, children from 2 to 12 years old will be able to try their hand at coordination, balance and technique tests. through the use of balance bikes.
Shows, activities and contests will take place over the three days also at the Bike Show Arena, where the Street Trial and BMX Stay Transfer and Bike Flip Show crews will perform at set times: at 12:30 and 15:30 the team Stay Transfer and Bike Flip Show from 14pm to 17pm.
Except for these times, the Bike Show Arena will be the scene of free BMX lessons, given by expert instructors, while the Skills Pumptrack will be available for free practice open to all.
Furthermore, at 13:00 and 16:00, those who want to challenge themselves, their friends and other visitors in a speed race on the Pump lap will be able to time their time to compete in the Time Challenge, with the awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

On Friday 9 September, at 15.30 pm, three “Factory Talks” organized by Apt Servizi Emilia-Romagna will take place in the conference room of the Emilia-Romagna stand, set up in the EBT1 and EBT2 area of the Italian Bike Festival village. Visit Emilia will present its “Emilia Bike Experience” to the public with speaker Pierangelo Romersi (Director of Tourist Destination Emilia), an area that is investing in new cycling projects and communication and territorial marketing actions for its bike product. Followed by Visit Romagna with the talk "Romagna Bike, Ciclovie, Bike Hotels and Events" edited by the journalist Andrea Manusia, Project Manager of the Cycling Department of Apt Servizi where we will go specifically to the various projects underway in the field of cycling, the new itineraries , increasingly specialized bike services, the permanent “Via Romagna” route that involves 30 municipalities and 20 ancient villages, the Granfondo and more. Third "talk" with the Bologna-Modena Tourist Territory and Margherita Cavallari who will present the Ciclovia del Sole, the beautiful 46-kilometer cycle route built on the old railway section between Bologna and Verona on the Eurovelo 7 route. Admission to the meetings is free for all visitors registered at the Italian Bike Festival. The guests of "EMCC" (European Cycling Media Contest), a contextual event at IBF with 50 journalists and bloggers specialized in the bike world from all over Europe, invited by Apt Servizi and Visit Romagna, will participate as "special guests".
Also present at the event was the stand of "Viaggio Italiano", the national tourism promotion project aimed at discovering the beauty of our territory. HOW TO GET
It will be possible to reach the Misano World Circuit very easily by car with the Cattolica motorway exit: once on site, visitors will have ample parking available near the exhibition area. Alternatively, you can reach your destination by train from Riccione and by plane, thanks to the national and international connections from the airports of Bologna, Milan, Rimini.
The fifth edition of IBF confirms the passion for the bike intended as a 360-degree means: for daily commuting, sporting activity or as a lifestyle. That's why a bike parking will be set up inside the location.
