Today Trek unveiled its all-new Powerfly+ full-suspension and hardtail e-MTBs, giving the brand’s popular e-SUV more trail-taming capability, head-turning good looks, and a quieter, smoother ride.

The new Powerfly+ offers great support thanks to the new Bosch Performance Line CX motor, quieter and more natural than its predecessor, but with a torque of 85 Nm, which allows you to effortlessly tackle both steep alpine trails and local hills.

Updated suspension and capacity

Powerfly+ models take a step up in capability and style, thanks to an all-new geometry that keeps the bike in control on both singletrack and rough trails. Powerfly+ full suspension models increase their suspension, with 120mm of travel in the rear and 130mm in the front, while an updated rear suspension layout gives them the confidence of a lower standover height. The Powerfly+ hardtail retains the same 120mm travel fork as its predecessor, but with updated geometry. Both models feature rack, fender, and kickstand mounts, so riders can transform their Powerfly+ into a rugged touring machine or keep it in trail shape.

The latest engine from Bosch

Bosch’s new Performance Line CX motor gives the Powerfly+ the same 85 Nm of torque as previous Powerfly models, but with a smoother, more refined thrust and significantly less noise. Riders get all the benefits of a full-power e-MTB in a package that looks and sounds more natural than ever.

VERSIONS

Larger and safer battery

Powerfly+ also features Bosch’s new Powertube battery, with 600Wh and 800Wh options for serious commutes or epic alpine adventures. The new battery bolts seamlessly to Powerfly+ with Trek’s updated Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) 2.0 technology. The new RIB 2.0 technology allows riders to attach or remove the battery with a quarter turn of a key, while keeping their toes safe from a slap in the face with a latching mechanism that allows for more secure parking and easy battery removal for transport or charging.

Those who want to go even further can add Bosch's PowerMore range extender to get more distance from every ride.

29 ″ / 27,5 ″

The Powerfly+ features 29˝ wheels to smooth out trail chatter and potholes, with plenty of clearance for traction tires to stay on the trail. Size Small models feature 27,5˝ wheels for improved standover clearance and handling.

Availability

Trek’s new Powerfly+ is now available at Trek’s nationwide network of retailers.
