Excellent performance by Loris Revelli with an amazing 24th place. The second best of the Italians is Francesco Colombo who closes with a good 49th position. Johannes Von Klebelsberg finished 75th after a crash and narrowly grabbed the final. Francesco Petrucci and Gianluca Vernassa failed to qualify, with an 83rd and an 85th place. Mario Milani 103rd, Carlo Caire 107th, Davide Palazzari 128th and Tommaso Francardo 158th.
Among women Rachel Atherton wins and convinces by inflicting heavy gaps on her opponents. Second position for Tahnée Seagrave who marks a delay of 8 and a half seconds from Atherton while in third position Manon Carpenter who instead suffers a delay of over 11 and a half seconds.
