GT presents its electric: eVerb!

Source: press release

GT Bicycles today launched the eVERB, a new full-suspension pedal assisted bike for trail adventurers looking to push the boundaries. With the traction and stability of the GT Verb at its core, eVERB takes riders out of their comfort zone to push them beyond their boundaries at full speed.

“We wanted to create a fun and rewarding mountain bike,” said Cait Dooley, GT E-Bike Product Manager. “The eVERB is a bike that makes you spend long days in the mountains and helps riders to tackle the trails with confidence”.

The eVERB truly challenges the limits of a mountain bike. It provides riders with excellent maneuverability, easy handling and total control over the toughest terrain thanks to its larger wheels and central positioning of the Shimano STEPS E8000 motor. The eVERB pedal assist saves riders energy, while its neutral riding position means riders are always in total control, whether on flat land, uphill or downhill.

GT athletes put the eVerb to the test on the trails and enjoyed the great boost in speed, energy and durability.

“I had never been a fan of e-bikes, until I actually tried eVERB in Leogang [Austria],” said GT Factory Racing Team athlete Wyn Masters. “You can ride a lot more downhill and still enjoy the climb. It gives the possibility to discover more territories and without having to rely on mechanized lifts!
"
The eVerb is available in Europe in 2 models, the AMP (€ 4.499) and the CURRENT (€ 3.799).
