It starts in the late afternoon of Friday July 29 with the Sunset Ride, a riding non-stop with the last light of the day on the Chili Peppers: a 12 km course that includes the Coast to Coast, Lonely Planet and Roller Coaster trails, one of the most famous and exciting flow trails in Europe. At the end of the route we meet in the plain of Calcheira to celebrate the beginning of the weekend with a barbecue and live music.
Saturday 30 July is entirely dedicated to the Tutti Frutti Challenge, a very amusing bike-game that combines the experience of riding to the digital world of social media. The initiative is for teams of 2 or 3 people and combines strategy, orientation and exploration within the Carosello 3000 mountain, but also in the town of Livigno. Here the participants have to get involved by finding check-points, taking pictures of unlikely characters, solving puzzles, passing special tests and... at the same time accumulating points through the publication of Instagram Stories.
At the end of the initiative, awaiting the awards ceremony, socialize between drinks and aperitifs at the Apres-Bike Alegra, where the premiere screening of the new video "Urban Mtb Adventure" by Hans Rey, who will actively participate in the Great Days, is also scheduled. . In the late evening still party with live music at the Marcos Pub.
The big news of the Great Days 2022 is the Tk Avalanche scheduled for Sunday 31 July. A beautiful top-to-bottom starting "bike on the ground" to kick off a race where the only thing that matters is sharing and the desire to take part in a unique, adrenaline-fueled and fun experience! The final descent is preceded by some qualifying runs and prizes are foreseen for the women and men categories. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with The King Mtb, a large community of enthusiasts that aims to promote the passion for mountain biking.
Also on Sunday you have the opportunity to participate in an Ebike Tour accompanied by an exceptional guide. The mountain bike legend Hans Rey will lead a tour among ancient paths, unspoiled nature and suggestive landscapes, sharing stories of his incredible feats and giving valuable advice on the technique of riding.
After the morning spent riding their bikes, the participants in the various initiatives gather at the Baitel del Plascianet, a small refuge immersed in the forest for the Festa nel Bosco. Here you can share your experiences and greet old and new friends while enjoying an inevitable polenta cooked in a cauldron accompanied by an alpine grill and a few good glasses of wine.
