With the 2014 racing season, Gravitalia increases its commitment to support sport, giving life to Gravitalia Squadra Corse, with the aim of supporting some of the best talents on the scene internationally Downhill Italian.
The Gravitalia Squadra Corse project is structured as a pool, with the task of assisting Italian athletes who have shown talent and who are meticulously preparing to be able to excel at the highest levels of this discipline, making available to them the support of interested companies to support MTB Downhill.
The new UCI Trade Team is currently made up of three young athletes from their respective teams, whose national colors will continue to be worn. It is not excluded that others may be added in the future.

I am very happy to be part of this project because it will help me better face the races abroad by having technical and logistic support. My goals for the 2014 season are to fight for the overall Italian title of Downhill and to face the World Cup races to my fullest potential, aiming for the top 60. I am looking forward to racing alongside Carlo and Loris and I am proud to represent our country.

The time has finally come to confront myself with the strongest athletes in the world. I can't wait to participate in my first World Cup race and I'm happy to be able to do it for an all-Italian team. My teammates are great friends and already have a great experience, this will help me settle into a whole new world.

I am very happy to be back in this project and I can't wait to start the season. Having two teammates like Francesco and Loris will be of great help to me. I thank all the Gravitalia staff for their availability and the support provided.
With a program that includes participation in the World Cup in European and American stages, as well as in the iXS European Cup, Gravitalia's goal is to contribute, together with the teams of origin, to the growth of athletes.

After taking over the organizational aspect of the National Circuit, Gravitalia launches the UCI Trade Team project. Strengthened by the passion and competence that everyone now recognizes, Gravitalia is committed to ensuring that some young promises of our DH have the technical, economic and organizational support to do well in the World Cup. Gravitalia's aim has always been to support sport in all its aspects, first by focusing on the quality of the circuit and now by supporting some of the most talented young people. We have known Francesco, Loris and Carlo for years and we appreciate their seriousness in their approach to the competitive season. We are also very grateful to the companies that immediately wanted to participate in the project, convinced that others will soon be added.
After numerous rumors leaked on the pages of social networks, some true and others fictional, here is finally the official and definitive version of the calendar of national competitions Downhill for the 2014 season
The Gravitalia National Circuit 2014 will be divided into 5 events over the period from early May to mid-September. 5 renowned locations with a variety of tracks worthy of a national caliber circuit, in addition to the prestigious Italian Championship.
The first appointment is in Caldirola (AL) on 03/04 May 2014. Opening of the season with a classic panorama race Downhill national. Ideal for getting back into the competition mood after a long winter of training.
The second round will be held on 24/25 May in Sestola (MO). Track with strong new school connotations, which has always attracted a large number of participants.
On 21/22 June we move to Abetone (PT) for the third stage. The event is classified as International and will award UCI points to the best in the standings. The best Italian athletes will have to compete with some of the strongest international riders to reach the top of the stage classification.
On 12/13 July the highlight of the DH season will take place in Champoluc (AO): the Italian Specialty Championship, counted among the Gravitalia 2014 events. The decidedly technical and demanding Champoluc track will be renewed specifically for the competition .
With the event in Fai della Paganella (TN) on 26/27 July, the Gravitalia National Circuit reaches its fourth stage. Great return to the national scene of Downhill for the Trentino location, already appreciated by athletes during the 2012 season.
On 13/14 September Bormio (SO) will host the very prestigious final of the Gravitalia National Circuit 2014. New entry among the circuit locations, with a track built ad hoc for the event, will be the worthy conclusion of a spectacular season.
The Gravitalia National Circuit 2014 awaits you, with numerous innovations and many rich prizes for the participants. Get in on your workouts and get your racing equipment right. The smell of adrenaline is already in the air!
