May 30/31 - Round # 2 - FRABOSA SOPRANA (CN)
27/28 June - Round # 3 - ABETONE (PT)
26/27 September - Round # 4 - BORMIO (SO)
17/18 October - Round # 5 Final - SANTO STEFANO d'AVETO (GE)
The Italian Cycling Federation has also formalized the date of the Italian Championship Downhill, which will take place in Sestola (MO) on 18/19 July.
The racing season opens in Spiazzi di Gromo, the first of the new entries, on 25/26 April. The province of Bergamo has always been one of the Italian territories where the Downhill has the largest following, so be prepared for a closely contested race.
We continue with the second new entry of the season, on May 30/31 in Frabosa Soprana, in the province of Cuneo. A flow track that will appeal to new school lovers.
On 27/28 June the appointment for the third round is at Abetone, by now a historic location of the Gravitalia National Circuit, which last season was enormously successful thanks to the specially renewed track for the race. The stage will also be valid for the interregional Gravity Race circuit.
After a break that leaves room for the Italian DH Championship and summer holidays, the circuit returns on 26/27 September to Bormio, in the province of Sondrio, which last season hosted the circuit final. The race will be run on a completely renewed course with the inclusion of technical sections and bulldozed sections.
Santo Stefano d'Aveto will crown the winners of the Gravitalia National Circuit 2015 in the final which will take place on 17/18 October. The locality in the province of Genoa, straddling the Ligurian and Emilian territories, is one of the rare Ligurian ski resorts with ski lifts, a training destination for many downhillers.
Lots of news, fun, adrenaline and rich prizes await all the participants of the 2015 Gravitalia National Circuit, for another exciting season of real Downhill.
