The 2015 Enduro World Series ended with the final test of Finale Ligure which saw the victory of Jared Graves e Tracy Moseley. The general classification sees in 1st place Richie Rude (male) and Tracey Moseley (female) who then win the Enduro World Series.

The first of the Italians is Denny Lupato, in 43rd position, while among the women is Rossin Laura, 18th.

The final round of the 2015 Enduro World Series circuit which took place here in Finale Ligure from 2 to 4 October was simply an incredible event full of emotions, perfectly in tune with the rest of the seven stages that reached 8 during the season. countries and 3 continents.

In piazza Vittori Emanuele II, a stone's throw from the sea, Richie Rude and Tracy Moseley have been crowned the new Enduro World Champions. On the same stage, two legends like Fabien Barel and Tracy Mosely herself announced their retirement from competitions.

A very touching moment, which the local organization Finale Outdoor Resort and Superenduro experienced in a heartfelt way, nurturing a deep esteem and affection for both of these two champions. Mayor Ugo Frascherelli himself called Fabien on stage a few moments before the final podium to present him with a special career award, a recognition for all the emotions he has been able to give us over the years.

This Superenduro Powered by Sram Grand Finale was the hardest-fought race ever. The top three in the Men category, the fastest riders here at Finale, are packed in just 2 seconds. Jared Graves (Yeti / Fox Shox Factory Team) wins the race, with Fabien Barel (Canyon Factory Enduro Team) and Nico Vouilloz (Lapierre Gravity Republic) right behind in second and third respectively.

Despite this great achievement, it was American Richie Rude (Yeti / Fox Shox Factory Team) who conquered the scene. Eleventh of the day - he certainly did not push to the maximum of his possibilities - he was crowned Enduro World Champion at the end of an incredible season.

In the women Tracy Moseley (Trek Factory Racing Enduro Team) triumphed both in the final race and in the series, taking the third Enduro World Series title. The closest rival Cecile Ravanel (Commencal Vallnord Enduro Team) had to settle for a second position both in the race and in the overall standings. The German Ines Thoma (Canyon Factory Enduro Team) climbs for the first time on the podium of an EWS with the third placement of the day. Anneke Beerten ends a truly consistent season by conquering the third step of the podium of the series.

In the Women's U21 category, the young Axelle Murigneux wins the title of EWS Champion. The same goes for the French Adrien Dailly (Lapierre Gravity Republic) who wins the title of Champion in the U21 Men category. Woody Hole, on the other hand, is the Champion in the Master category - not bad for a "boy" who underwent hip surgery less than 18 months ago. To keep him company on the podium of the day a rider who rarely disappoints, Bruno Zanchi (Team Airoh Axo Santacruz). The Canyon Factory Enduro Team is simply thrilled for taking home the victory in this hard-fought category.

As soon as she got off the podium, Tracy declared: "It is a surreal feeling. We have worked all year to get to this point and win the title again. This time, however, next year I will not be here again to defend the title, it's time to move on to another phase of my life. I have no precise plans for the future, for now the important thing is to have finished with a good result. I will be out and about again next year and you will surely see me in the saddle. I'll see how the EWS evolves. It's been an incredible three years and probably the most fun riding a bike ever. I am really curious to see which direction things will take in the next few years".

Richie Rude: "It has always been a dream to be an Enduro World Champion but I didn't think it could happen in the second year. This is all just crazy!"

Enduro World Series Director Chris Ball: "Wow. What a season. There were ups and downs, happiness and dramatic moments. From the New Zealand jungle to the shores of the Mediterranean here at Finale. The race was very tight, the level really high and the battles for the podiums really tough until the end. With a strong growing pool of young people, 2015 will certainly be a season to remember in the future. Congratulations to our champions and thank you very much to all the fan supporters and the enduro community".
