Glasgow will be the home of the 2023 XCO and XCM World Championships

The Glasgow Super World Championship already has 4 confirmed venues, including those for DH, XCO and Marathon (from 3 to 13 August 2023).

A few days ago it was confirmed that Fort William would be the home of the DH World Championships as part of the cycling world championship program that the UCI will preview next season, in Glasgow and at a number of events across the country. Scotland. Today announced the venue and dates of the XCO and marathon World Championships, which will be held in Glentress, Tweed Valley, known for hosting enduro events in recent seasons.

If the DH goes to Fort William, the XCO and the bike-marathon go to Glentress. 90km from Glasgow, Glentress Forest is one of the most popular places for bikers in Scotland. Located in the Tweed Valley, home to renowned enduro events, it will be in charge of hosting the XCO and XCM events. It is the fourth venue assigned after Dumfries & Galloway for road para-cycling, Stirling for time trial and Fort William for DH.

The Glasgow Super World Championship will take place from 3 to 13 August 2023.
