GIANT PRESENTS THE NEW TRAIL MODEL, THE TRANCE X 29

Ideal for tackling longer distances, this bike makes geometry and the Maestro rear suspension system its strengths. In addition, it introduces an innovative angle adjustment system based on the needs of each rider

Giant, world leader in the cycling sector, presents the Trance X 29, a new model that expands the already well-known range of trail bikes of the Taiwanese brand. Featuring 29-inch wheels and a totally new aluminum frame, it offers one of the best quality-to-weight ratios in its class. Furthermore, it is the first Giant mtb equipped with an angle adjustment system. The heart of the new Trance X 29 is its frame: resistant, light and made of ALUXX SL aluminum. It is designed to guarantee the best possible stiffness, allowing instant acceleration on climbs and corner exits. It mounts a fork with 150mm of travel which, combined with the 135mm Maestro rear shock absorbing system (20mm more travel than the models in the Trance 29 range), makes the Trance X 29 the perfect bike for those who want an extraordinarily versatile trail bike , ideal for tackling long outings with a backpack, pedaling on the flat or enjoying a day jumping in the bike park. One of the innovations that characterize the new Trance X 29 is the possibility to change the geometry of the frame according to your needs. The special Flip Chip system placed on the upper connecting rod, made of Advanced carbon fiber, allows you to choose between a more or less open head angle, also affecting the height of the bottom bracket and the angle of the seat tube. This allows you to have a bicycle that can be adapted to various types of riding, from the faster and more aggressive ones where a more open steering angle will be used, to the more technical ones where more closed angles will be used.

The steering angle can vary from 66.2 ° to 65.5 °, while the seat tube angle between 77.9 ° and 77.2 °. Changing these parameters also affects the height of the bottom bracket, which can be lowered by 30mm or raised by 40mm compared to the default position. In both cases, the frame geometry has been designed to use 29-inch tubeless wheels, fitted as standard on the Trance X 29. In addition to being able to fit tires up to 2,5 inches wide, the wheels use the standard Boost, which increases lateral stiffness. Riding the Trance X 29 you will no longer have to compromise: you can manage the maneuverability of the bike according to your preferences, whether you are tackling some challenging alpine passes, whether you are having fun on the trails or are looking for new trajectories on the most descents. adrenaline. The Trance X 29 2 models at € 2.999,00 and Trance X 29 3 at € 2.499,00 will soon be available for the Italian market. To learn more, visit giant-bicycles.com/uk/showcase/trance-x-29.
