Giant will be the new Official Sponsor and Bike Partner of Val di Sole Bikeland, which for years has been the fixed venue for major world events in the off-road sector and an increasingly popular destination for bikers of all levels and categories.
The new official Val di Sole bike will be the protagonist not only on the routes and projects related to the Bike tourism product, but also in the long and prestigious season of two-wheeled events scheduled. It will start in June, with the IMBA Europe Summit (2-4 June) and the first time of Val di Sole BikeFest, the event that will coincide with the opening of the Val di Sole Bike Park season and which will offer emotions and experiences cycle paths for enthusiasts of all categories.
The great appointment with the Mountain Bike World Cup will return from 2 to 4 September, which in Val di Sole will crown its winners in the final round. Finally, on December 17th, the Cyclocross World Cup will return to be held in the snowy scenery of Vermiglio that has conquered spectators from all over the world.
A LOCATION THAT GROWS
Over the last fifteen years, Val di Sole has become the Italian capital of mountain biking in all its forms, hosting three editions of the specialty World Championships (2008, 2016, 2021), with the fourth already scheduled for 2026.
This year the World Championship will be organized in Les Gets, France, but the cycling summer in Val di Sole is full of events of absolute prestige and interest: starting with the IMBA Europe Summit and the “first” Val di Sole BikeFest in program at the beginning of June, to then end with “The Grand Finale”, or the final stage of the Mountain Bike World Cup, from 2 to 4 September.
In 2021, the Val di Sole also opened to cyclocross, welcoming the World Cup in December in a unique context of its kind in Vermiglio. Snow is the great protagonist of a special and engaging event, which will be repeated on December 17th at the Laghetti di San Leonardo.
It is no coincidence that Val di Sole has been awarded the title of Bike Region by the International Cycling Union. A recognition for what has been done in the recent past and an incentive to write an even brighter future, with a brand like Giant as a travel companion.
