Giacomo Dodino is racing the Trans Madeira, a reference stage race in terms of enduro stage race (this year is the sixth edition), but here is the disaster: all the material loaded in the hold, including the bike, did not arrive in Madeira (of course we hope for a delay of a few days as often happens).

From the site of MTB-Tech, where Giacomo is publishing his story, tells everything in detail. The race takes place over 5 days for a total of 30 special stages, over 200 km of race and 15000m of negative altitude difference. An event that develops throughout the island of Madeira.
"GThanks to the help of the organizers who have taken steps to contact all the bike shops on the island and the competitors themselves who have lent me what they had in reserve ... and I need stuff ... I was able to find a bike (one of those in rental), clothing, helmet, gloves, knee pads, shoes, pedals. But also panties and socks ... yes, when you are left with a backpack and with only what you have on it is like that!"
