Quik replaces the GoPro App in the iOS and Android App stores starting today. The current GoPro App users' app will update during installation. For GoPro camera users, Quik offers the same features as the previous GoPro App and so much more. The photos and videos of current GoPro App users will be transferred from the old app to the new Quik app upon installation, and all content uploaded to the cloud will remain accessible.

Today GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) unveiled an update to its mobile app, which has been totally redesigned and given a specific name to reflect its purpose. The app, not surprisingly called Quik, allows you to get the most out of your favorite photos and videos quickly and easily, no matter which camera or phone you use.
The main purpose of Quik is to make it easy to keep track of your favorite photos and videos, preventing them from getting lost in the midst of the other thousand contents in the phone gallery. So, the next time you take a particularly special photo that you absolutely want to keep, you can easily keep it in the app, where it will be added to the Mural, which is its main and customizable feed. The same goes for content that is already on the roll: adding it to Quik is a breeze, and grouping it by theme or producing short montages, synchronized with music that you can easily change.
In addition to Mural, Quik also comes with powerful editing tools, which are intuitive and easy to use.
