The coach Mirko Celestino confirmed the team that excelled at the European Championships at the beginning of the month, with the only change in the Junior relay runner, where Matteo Betteo replaced Filippo Agostinacchio. At the start the strongest rider of all, the elite Luca Braidot, followed by Betteo, then Martina Berta, Sara Cortinovis and Marika Tovo with Juri Zanotti in the final.

Despite the excellent performances of Braidot and Zanotti, author of a great final lap, we were unable to take a medal that was within reach on the eve. Too bad for Sara Cortinovis' test, in a bit subdued seeing the lap times and knowing her value.
