The new Forbidden brand, a year after launching into the EWS, debuts in the DH field with two athletes without even having a model ready, and in itself the news could end here, but although this rumor has been around for a while. of time on social media and on the web, only now do we have the confirmation that the Canadian manufacturer of only three years is actually planning to enter the downhill championship as a team.

The two athletes chosen by the team are Connor Fearon and Magnus Manson: the first in ten years to compete for Kona has decided to change partners for the 2022 season, although Connor already has good results in the EWS accumulated in recent years, he will focus only of the DH cup; the second one is still in the recovery phase, in fact the young Canadian champion of 2018 had to face a cycle of chemotherapy starting last summer following the diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma and only later will he be able to get back in condition to compete , for now it is limited to some quiet sesh and participation in various events.

Being Forbidden so young and not yet having designed a model specifically for the downhill, the two riders at the beginning of the season will find themselves competing with two prototypes of the Dreadnough (the enduro of the house), in any case the project of a new specific model should already be in an advanced stage.
Finally, in the enduro section of the team this year we will see Rhys Verner and Alex Storr. We hope for many successes for the mtb supercar and good luck and health to Magnus!
