The rear triangle was a key element in the development of our VAM² SL. To design a carbon rear end with the ideal combination of flex and lightness, we evaluated several suspension layouts. After running many test cycles, we designed a kinematic solution that makes the VAM² SL efficient and alive on and off the trails.

With our new flex pivot design, we were able to reduce the amount of frame material, bearings and bolts. The result is our lightest e-MTB frame: our 9.series MAX carbon frame tips the scales at 2.172g, while our 8.series frame weighs 2.545g (both frames size M, including linkage and bolts). It also gives the rear triangle its seamless look.
With its 125mm cushioned platform and direct maneuverability, VAM² SL makes you enjoy your home turf in a new way. Your usual route will feel different, like being on a giant pump track. The result: better driving skills and endless fun.
EFFICIENT E- DRIVE FAZUA
With a torque of 60 Nm and a maximum power of 450 W, it pushes you forward providing the sensation of natural driving with minimal acoustic distractions. The system features three driving modes and an additional boost function which increases the power output. You can also customize the motor support via the FAZUA app by setting parameters such as Maximum Power, Support Ratio and Ramp-up according to your preferences. This way, the e-drive always offers what you need.
The integrated battery can be charged via the charging port on the seat tube. You'll be surprised how far 430Wh will take you. In the worst case scenario, the efficiency and lightness of the VAM² SL even allow you to pedal home with a flat battery. If you want even more, FAZUA will offer a 210Wh range extender.
INTEGRATION DONE RIGHT
Our CIS 2.0 MTB, the updated version of our previous CIS (Cockpit Integration Solution) mount, simplifies cockpit setup adjustments and complements the clean look of our VAM² SL. All cables run directly into the frame from underneath the stem, so there's no need to open brake lines or change cables when changing handlebar height. Its standard size is 50mm long, but we also offer a shorter version of 40mm.
Both VAM² SL cockpits can be equipped with a computer and action camera mount to track riding stats or create lasting memories. To ensure that the VAM² SL stands the test of time, we have equipped the headset with two additional integrated protective seals to preserve the bearings even better.

GEOMETRY
Rear triangle maintenance requirements are minimized thanks to our flex pivot design and fewer bearings ensuring less wear and tear on your VAM² SL. Although the VAM² SL is a 130mm travel trail bike, it falls into Bike Classification #4.
If you want more travel VAM² SL is ready to cope with your enduro aptitude. Allows you to mount a 140mm fork with a maximum length of 554mm. The longer fork results in a 0,5° slacker head angle compared to the standard 65 and 66° head angle settings, making your VAM² SL even more adept on descents. It is designed for a total system weight (bike, rider and equipment) of 135 kg.
