“I felt good, physically I was the strongest and I set the pace throughout the race. But in the final I missed the last step to make a difference. Then came the sprint and Nino's extremely risky maneuver at the penultimate corner. From my point of view, overtaking was extremely risky and I don't think it's fair to do it this way to your teammate.
But it happened, I draw my own conclusions and I will handle such a race situation differently in the future. I can't wait for Friday and next Sunday where I'll stick to again Lenzerheide! "

Our opinion is that the World Cup is run by country, but if you get to the last 2 corners together, you automatically become opponents… you can't get hand in hand. So Schurter's entry is there: as a great shrewd champion like him, he knew that it was risky to wait for the last straight to pass, given that you had to get out of the line and you were losing so many watts. The champions are like this: when a victory is involved they become extremely evil and decisive ... and there are no more friendships (like it or not).
