Fanta like Fantacalcio® or Fantaciclismo®, projects that have already had their great success. But in Mountain Bike no one has ever had the courage to set up a similar project: fantaMTB® has a database with over 3000 athletes registered between Enduro, Downhill and Cross Country (continuously updated database) with biography, photos, palmares and related fantasy market prices. Everything is listed in a simple and intuitive way, so as to be easily consultable even for those who do not live solely on bread and mountain biking.
The game mechanism is easy and intuitive, like any self-respecting fantasy game. Both in "fantas league" mode (all against all) and in "private league" (groups of friends and/or colleagues), there is a pre-established budget of 250 fantamillions to be invested to compose a team (downhill, cross country and/or enduro) of 15 athletes (9 males and 6 females). At each race, it will then be necessary to line up 9 of them, designating a captain who will act as a joker (double score). And then, based on the results in the "real world", the sums will be drawn. There are various additional features, such as the market section, to make the gaming experience even more exciting!
As if that were not enough, FantaMTB® does not stop only at the gaming part: thanks to the collaboration with the historic 365mountainbike portal, within the app you can find daily news, video (thanks to 365tv with the format 'puliti dentro biker fuori'), E-commerce (with biker gadgets for bikers) e historical section.
The historical part will be another strong point of the app: you will be able to consult all the information relating to the most important events from 1988 (the year in which the first international mtb competitions arrived) to today, including the athletes who have made history, thus creating a real “encyclopedia” of off-road vehicles.
The future goal will be to integrate other disciplines (think of the CICLOCROSS) and add new unique features, both from the gaming side and from the information side.
