Extreme Shox and BH-Miranda Gravity Team together again in 2017

Source: press release

Extreme Racing Shox is pleased to announce that it will continue the partnership with the BH-Miranda Gravity Team also for the 2017 season.

Among the most important news is the presence of the young and fast French rider Alex Cure. In 2016 Cure was ranked seventeenth in the overall of the Enduro World Series and this year is aiming for the Top 10. Together with him, Karim Amour, Dimitri Tordo and Josè Borges will also race with EXT STORIA LOK.

Extreme Shox will provide the BH-Miranda Gravity Team with the latest version of their enduro shock. A completely improved shock absorber that has been developed thanks to the partnership with some of the fastest enduro racers on the international scene.

EXT STORY LOK MY2017:
- High flow Ø29mm oversized piston
- Ø24mm valve piston
- Ø28mm compensation tank piston
- Dedicated hydraulics for compression and rebound
- Low friction coating
- CNC machined from 7075 T6 alloy and Titanium
- Maximum sensitivity
- LOK technology
- Dedicated hydraulics for each bike model
- No cavitation
- Minimal hysteresis for a high dynamic response
- High turbulence oil flow
- Little dependent on temperature variations
- No bobbing
- Low friction seals
- Weight: 620gr (200 × 57 spring included)

Extreme Racing Shox and the BH-Miranda Gravity Team will take part in all the events of the Enduro World Series 2017, in all the events of the French enduro series and in selected events such as: the Megavalanche, the Roc D'Azur and the Epic Shimano.

The BH-Miranda Gravity Team will also race with the new EXT Super Alloy Racing springs. These springs were designed in 2013 thanks to the Honda Racing WTCC partnership. New materials to achieve maximum performance and keep the weight low. From this experience Extreme Racing Shox has been able to develop springs for mountain biking which, thanks to an innovative design of the coils, have the same weight as titanium and an improved ability to absorb shocks. Furthermore, the compound contains materials such as silicon, chromium and vanadium: hence the name Super Alloy. All EXT springs are heat treated and worked with Hi-Tech processes to allow the material a long life and remarkable mechanical properties.

The 2017 enduro season could not have started in a better way with a 3rd place overall for Cure at Dolcenduro and victory in the first stage of the French Enduro Series. The next race will mark the official start on the international arena with the first round of the Enduro World Series in New Zealand on March 25th and 26th.
