Italians far from the top: Mirco Harvest (Cannondale) is 43rd (remember that he is returning from an injury) while Gloria Scarsi (Canyon CLLTV Dainese) is in 14th place. Too bad for Richie Rude who had mechanical problems when halfway through the race the trio Rude, Melamed and Moir was split by just 16 seconds after 27 minutes of special! The American will finish 44th.

It was EWS victory number three in Whistler, Canada in the fourth round of the 2022 series for Harriet Harnden (Trek Factory Racing). The British driver finished the women's race with just 4,44 seconds ahead of Morgane Charre of Pivot Factory Racing. Third place for the Chilean Florencia Espineira Herreros (Orbea Fox Enduro Team). Unlucky Canadian Andreane Lanthier Nadeau (Rocky Mountain Race Face) who led the race before a puncture in the final stage.

Circuit leader Isabeau Courdurier (Lapierre Zipp Collective) takes fourth place later the foot injury in the ews-e race.

The women's U21 race was won by Chilean Paz Gallo Fuentes with American Ainsley Haggart second and compatriot Lauren Bingham third. The men's U21 contest was a Canadian dominance with Seth Sherlock keeping Emmett Hancock at bay. Lief Rodgers was third.

The team of the day was Rocky Mountain Race Face, in second place Pivot Factory Racing third the Canyon Collective.

Melamed takes the lead of the circuit with 2080 points while Rude drops to second place with 295 points behind. Isabeau Courdurier holds the lead of the series with a 2000-point lead over Morgane Charre and Harriet Harnden. Complete results of the circuit here

ppgad@pucrs.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
