Trek Factory Racing's Harriet Harnden took two consecutive EWS wins by winning at Whistler and then in the US at EWS Burke. Richie Rude (Yeti / Fox Racing) withstood the pressure of Jack Moir and won in front of his crowd.
In the Men's EWS, it was the 2021 circuit champion Jack Moir who raised the bar by winning the first four stages in front of the Burke Mountain crowd. However, times were tight and Moir, who fought for all of this 2022 in search of the best physical shape, got overtaken in the last stage. Whistler winner and series leader Jesse Melamed (Rocky Mountain Race Face) took three second places in PS and a third, but could never really challenge Rude and Moir's dominance.
In the Men's U21, Australian Luke-Meier Smith (Propain Factory Racing) scored an overall time that would have led him to finish 9th in the Elite men's field. The second was his compatriot Ryan Gilchrist while in 3rd place we find the second classified of Whistler that is the Canadian Emmett Hancock.
Among the Italians, 11th place of Gloria Scarsi (Canyon Collective) among the Elite Women. Beautiful victory for Sophie Riva (Ancillotti Team) among the U21 women. Mirco Vendemmia, on the other hand, did not start due to a fall on his shoulder already fractured a short time ago.
