GORE-TEX protection in case of rain
With the GORE-TEX configuration of the Ergolace GTX, cyclists can prolong their thirst for adventure thanks to the shoe's triple-layer, waterproof and breathable membrane: it adds protection from the elements while keeping feet dry.
The durable ripstop upper resists abrasion and tearing, while the PU laminated toe and side reinforcements add additional protection and durability. For added comfort, the Ergolace GTX model cradles the foot, securing the fit with an ergonomic lace closure.
Slim fit, feeling of security
Fizik designed the Ergolace GTX specifically to reduce bulk and avoid the bloated look of other mountain bike shoes, meaning they're ready to blend back into society when the backcountry missions are over.
X2: hook up, take off
The X2 outsole enhances the versatility of this all-mountain shoe. Designed to offer an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and off-bike comfort, the X2 sole offers cyclists coverage for all moments of cycling excursions.
The compressed EVA midsole guarantees stability and cushioning while the Vibram rubber outsole ensures grip and traction, whatever the conditions.
The directional fin pattern is designed for secure footing; with the right spacing and depth to penetrate the softest terrain, it is made with a unique compound ideal for gripping slippery rocks while hiking.
The X2 features an extended cleat track that provides more setback and greater flexibility in cleat placement.
