Surely the number one favorites are Jack Moir and Richie Rude, last year able to battle until the last stage. Canadian Jesse Melamed will not be watching: it seems that this year he wants to give the 2 champions a hard time.
Behind him a series of athletes who could do well, first of all (in our opinion) Dimitri Tordo, Matthew Walker and Adrien Dailly.
Among the Italians, Mirco Vendemmia is present, able to make very solid placings during the 2021 vintage. We hope that this year there will be that leap in quality that would take him among the top riders in the world. Matteo Saccon, Denny Lupato Alex Lupato, Erwin Ronzon and Tommaso Francardo are also at the start.
Among women, it looks like a fight between Frenchmen: Melanie Pugin, Morgane Charre and Isabeau Courdurier seem to have an edge, but the young Harriet Harnden will not stand by. Italians at the start: Sophie Riva, among the favorites in the U21 category, Nadine Ellecosta and Gloria Scarsi.
