Richie Rude has been riding aggressively all week and looking comfortable on the variety of trails.

The first of the season is in South America, with the return of Manizales, Colombia which will host the first round on 28 and 29 March

the lunar terrain of Chile

For the second round EWS will move north, the following week, among the dust of Lo Barnechea, Chile. The proximity to Santiago should not be misleading, as the lunar landscape of the High Andes will offer some of the most difficult and unpredictable terrain imaginable. The riders will be involved in two days of competition in which they will have to manage, in addition to a scorching sun, the famous Chilean anti - grip.

on 23 and 24 May the caravan will move to France, for the third round of the circuit. Riders will return to  Olargues - Montagnes Du Caroux, a location already on the EWS calendar in 2017. The resort, located in the south west of France, is remembered for its rocky and very technical trails. The 2020 race will feature an unprecedented route, but riders can again expect a race in full French style, where it will be necessary to push to the limit to get the better of it.

We stay in Europe for the fourth round, on July 4th and 5th we return to Val di Fassa, in the Dolomites. After this year's debut on the world enduro scene, Val di Fassa has been able to conquer a place of honor in the hearts of athletes. Breathtaking views, long and physical special stages, lifts meant that there was no doubt that EWS would return to this incredible location to offer another great Italian-style race.

the following week we will move to Petzen / Jamnica in Austria and Slovenia, working to present a new race course on the occasion of its second appearance on the EWS circuit. a stage that spans both Slovenia and Austria, this round made a big splash last year, finishing second in the Specialized Trail of the Year competition for Thriller, the 6km course that undoubtedly represented the high light of the race in 2017.

Whistler is now a fixed stop on the ews circuit

For the sixth round of EWS, Whistler could not miss Canada, which on 8 and 9 August will once again host the enduro tour within the largest mountain bike festival, the Crankworx. But next year there will be no shortage of surprises even here and, for the first time, the race will be held over two days, a prospect that could frighten even the most seasoned athletes.

The final will be in the shadow of the Matterhorn

The series will close in Zermatt, one of the most famous places in the Alps, on 29 and 30 August. For the second time in its history, the EWS will end in the shadow of the Matterhorn, in Switzerland.

Once the Champions of the Circuit have been crowned, all attention will be focused on winning the rainbow jersey and on the important Trophy of Nations which, once again, will take place in the splendid Finale Ligure. This, which is a real celebration of sport, sees the "Amateurs" "Industry" and "Nations" trophies up for grabs, in what can be considered the biggest race of the year and which brings athletes back to racing in the splendid setting of the Italian Riviera, the best way to end the season.

Chris Ball, Managing Director of Enduro World Series: "We are very proud to announce our seventh season with a calendar full of truly iconic venues - it is one of our strongest to date. We have developed some great and long-term partnerships with these local organizer groups and it is exciting to see the sport move forward and grow stronger and stronger.".

Below is the press release with which the Val di Fassa staff enthusiastically announces the new challenge

The Val di Fassa and its paths have hit the mark and the organizational quality shown by the local staff with the support and hospitality of all the structures involved did the rest.
The Enduro World Series had no doubts: the world series will return to the valley also in 2021!
"It is a great honor for Val di Fassa to host a stage of the EWS world circuit for the second consecutive year. This is certainly the demonstration that our location has proved to be up to the task of hosting such an important event, but it is above all a stimulus to improve and expand our bike offer. He declares Mara Dorich APT Val di Fassa bike product manager.
