The Italian stage of the EWS is approaching. The Val di Fassa path continues in the enduro mountain bike world championship and after the successful editions of 2019 and 2021, the Trentino town returns to host the third round of the season scheduled for 25 and 26 June 2022.

Favorite number one seems to be Jesse Melamed and Richie Rude, with third wheel Jack Moir, who is regaining his ideal form.
Behind them, a series of athletes who could do well, first of all (in our opinion) Dimitri Tordo, Matthew Walker and Edward Masters.

Among the Italians, this Mirco Vendemmia, able to close in the top 20 last year. Another Italian we have seen on the ball is Tommaso Francardo, let's see if he will be able to close a solid match.
HISTORY ORGANIZING COMMITTEE
Among women, Isabeua Courdurier (Lapierre Zipp Collective) seems to have found the right rhythm but pay attention to the expert Morgan Charre. Ella Conolly (Cannondale Enduro), Bex Baraona (Yeti / Fox Factory Team) will not stand by. Great expectations for the Italian Gloria Scarsi, who we have heard these days. Other Italians at the start: Sophie Riva, among the favorites in the U21 category and Nadine Ellecosta.
CANAZEI HIGHLIGHTS 2021
You have lined up the formation for the FANTAmtb? Enduro is certainly the most difficult discipline to make predictions.
CANAZEI REPORT 2021

PATH
The riders of the EWS and EWS 100 will be engaged respectively along a course of 42km and 2.800m of elevation gain for the professionals and of 36 km and 2.600m of elevation gain for the amateurs category. The difference between the two otherwise identical courses lies in the fact that the EWS athletes will have to face an extra special stage, the PRO Stage 1 MET Ciasates on Saturday afternoon.
The other special stages (SP) are the PS 2 MET Titans in the Ciampac area, the PS 3 DAINESE Mescedoz and the PS 4 NORTHWAVE Gluhwein on the side of Passo Pordoi and the final PS 5 Queen Stage, the spectacular long and technical TRENTINO VAL DI FASSA Tutti Frutti which, with over 6km and almost 1.000m of altitude difference, is one of the most demanding of the whole world circuit.

Just as the athletes will use the ski lifts to cover most of the positive difference in height of the race, the public can also use the FassaLift cable cars to reach some of the most evocative spots from which to watch the race.
